MRS. DOROTHY ADAMS BOOKER, 44, of 5010 Church Drive, Rand, died today in Charleston Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
She was a member of the Levi First Baptist Church, Rand, the Usher Board, and was a registered practical nurse for the Department of Mental Health. She was a lifelong resident of Rand.
Surviving: husband, Emmett E.; sons, Glen and Robert at home, William of Institute; sisters, Beulah Godfrey and Mrs. Revella Harris of Rand, Mrs. Alberta Jackson of Youngstown, Ohio; brothers, Carl Adams and William Adams of Columbus, Ohio, Roland Adams of Youngstown, Ohio.
Service will be 1 p.m. Monday in Levi First Baptist Church in Rand with the Rev. J. C. Ealy and the Rev. Dyke Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Friends may call after noon Sunday at Harden-Harden Funeral Home.
