Mr. Roy Ellis, age 71, of Chatsworth passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Ridgewood Manor.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Leonard Dutch Ellis, and mother, Pearl Dixon Ellis.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Ledford Ellis of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony Ellis of Chatsworth, Steve and Lisa Ellis of Tunnel Hill, and Jimmy and Tammy Ellis of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Essie and Steve Ware of Chatsworth and Elaine Sosebee and Dean McGill of Chatsworth; daughters and son-in-law, Celestine and Mitchell Grant of Chatsworth and Lynette Ellis of Chatsworth; stepchildren, Jamie Parson of Crandall and Maria and Carl Taylor of Crandall; grandchildren, Joslyn Ellis of Milledgeville, Carter Grant of Chatsworth, Ellison Grant of Chatsworth, Asa Taylor of Crandall, and Alexis Parson of Chatsworth; and several dear nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Ellis will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 22, 2019, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Dr. Danny Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Creek Cemetery.
