Theresa was born in Trenton, NJ and was the youngest of 10 children born to John Joseph and Josephine Kaczor Zaborniak. She resided in Hamilton, NJ for over 65 years.
Theresa worked for many years at Stangl Pottery in Trenton as a painter. She retired from the State of New Jersey. Theresa enjoyed Bingo, the New Jersey Lottery, trips to Parx Casino and spending time with her family.
She was proud of her Polish heritage and took pride in making authentic Polish food. Her pierogis and Christmas Eve Wigilia dinner were famous among her family.
In addition to her parents and all of her siblings, she was predeceased by her husband Stanley Hawryluk.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Stanley Karl and Jodi Morphet Hawryluk, her grandsons Nicholas K. (Heather) and Matthew K. Hawryluk, her step-grandson William H. Cook, Jr. and a great-granddaughter due in March of 2020. Additionally, she is survived by her nieces and nephews and their families, Arlene and Doug Grimm, Cathy Rife, Marie & Bill Piestor, Pat McCabe, Roberta Rife, Sonnie Zaborniak, Stanley & Jody Zaborniak, Janice Demnyon, Charles Werner and her furry baby Gypsy.
