Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Deacon Channing Fell officiating. Military Graveside Rites will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in West, conducted by West Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
John was born June 10, 1937 in Leroy, the son of Gabriel and Annie (Jurek) Andrle. He attended the old Leroy School and LaVega High School. John proudly served his country in the United States Army in Stutgartt, Germany. On October 1, 1966 he was united in marriage to Mary Domesle in Penelope. Mary preceded him in death on December 26, 2016. John worked for Cameron Mills and then for General Motors in Arlington for 32 years. He was a member of St, Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington. John enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, hunting, picking pecans, working around the house, and tinkering with antique cars, especially his Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. He loved spending time with family and his General Motor friends.
John is also preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joe Andrle.
Survivors include his daughter, June Andrle of Arlington; his brothers, Frank Andrle, Richard Andrle, and William Andrle and wife Debbie; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Craig Andrle, Ian Walker, Michael J. Andrle, Charles Andrle, and Dathon Dobbs.
