Joseph H. "Joe" Andrle, age 77, of Waxahachie, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2017 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Deacon Denver Crawley officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel.

Joe was born September 2, 1939 in Leroy, the son of the late Gabriel and Annie (Jurek) Andrle. He was a 1958 graduate of LaVega High School prior to receiving a degree in drafting from James Connally Technical Institute. Joe served his country with the United States Navy from 1958 to 1962. On May 1, 1964 he was united in marriage to Paula Linkugel in Waco. Joe was a draftsman of Nay Company in Waxahachie for over 30 years before retiring in 2004. He was a faithful member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waxahachie and frequently attended Church of the Nativity of BVM Catholic Church-Penelope. He was also a member of the Elk's Lodge, Ennis Czech Heritage Society and was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council in Waxahachie. Joe enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, gardening, taking cruises, and traveling through the U.S.A, Canada and the Czech Republic, listening to Polka Music and dancing. He especially loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Paula Andrle of Waxahachie; his children, Karen Andrle Arnold and her husband Mark of Ennis and Mike Andrle and his wife Marie of Midlothian; brothers, Frank Andrle, John Andrle, Richard Andrle and William Andrle and wife Debbie; grandchildren, Andrew Spence, Will and Anna Arnold, Sarah, Hailey and Katelynn Andrle; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers are Will Arnold, Andrew Spence, Michael Allen, Craig Andrle, James Freeman Jr. and Ian Walker. Honorary pallbearers are his co-workers at the Nay Company.
