Hubert Majerus Married Catharina Arendt on September 19 1900 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bellechester, MN

MAZEPPA -- Hubert F. Majerus, 76-year-old Belle Chester resident, died Saturday at St. John's hospital, Red Wing. He had been ill four weeks. Mr. Majerus was born in October, 1871, in Belvidere township, Goodhue county. On September 12, 1900, he married Katherine Arendt, who survives him. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Plier of Port Washington, Wis., and Mrs. William Befort of Mazeppa, and five sons, Hubert S. of Minneapolis, Louis of Port Washington, Wis., Walter of Goodhue, Norbert of Goodhue and Vincent of Mazeppa. A brother, Steve, of Red Wing, and two sisters, Mrs. Peter Liffrig of Charleston, N.C., and Mrs. Frank Strouss of Belle Chester, and 22 grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 9 A.M. at the Belle Chester Catholic church. Burial was in Belle Chester with Rev. Peter Berger officiating.
