From obituary: "beloved mother of Inez Larkin and the late Eloisa Sanchez, a native of California, aged 67 years and 3 months... funeral from the residence of her sister Lucia Lopez." Interred 2 Jul 1904. Her name was sometimes reported as "Thomasa" and "Tomasa." Her obituary used "Tomasa." Although birthday in obituary is stated as 29 Mar 1837, the only Huntington Library EPP baptism with that name is 06535b on 30 Sep 1832 - daughter of Jose Candelario Valencia (1804-1881) and Paula Rodriga Leandra "Paula" Sanchez (1811-1875). The 1842 Padron of San Francisco does list a Tomasa Valencia (same parents) as 5 years old (that is, birthday 1837/38). At this time, parentage is believed to be correct - but birth year is unverified. Her first husband was Thomas Larkin and second husband was Jose Maria Noverto Sanchez.
