Josefa Hinojosa Rivera was born on March 19, 1876, in Mexico. She was married to Felix Rivera and they lived the majority of their life in Arizona after immigrating from Durango Mexico during the 1900's before finally spending their last years in California. They had five children in 18 years. She died on February 4, 1956, at the age of 79. She was the Mother of Concha, Angel, Otilia/Otelia, Marcia Jesus Rivera, and Esperanza Kilburg. Grandma Rivera died of a cerebral hemorrhage during the early hours.
