Funeral services for Hugh "Scotty" Brown, 71, 1513 Clayton St., who died March 20, 1972, in a local hospital of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on March 18th, will be Thursday noon, 4760 S. State, where friends call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m., and Thursday one hour before services.
Born Sept. 21, 1900, Cambuslang, Scotland, to Hugh and Marion Brown. Married Violet Caddy, June 7, 1928, Salt Lake City. She died July 16, 1961. Owner-operator of Brown Home Furnishings; retired from Salt Lake Recreation Department.
Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Evelyn) Vincent, Mrs. Blain (Nancy) Swanson, both Salt Lake City; three grandchildren; sisters, Marion Nuget, Margaret Reid, both Glasgow, Scotland.
Burial, Elysian Burial Gardens.
