FORD LAKE-Best wishes of the community are extended to Elmer Wanamaker who celebrated his 84th birthday anniversary Tuesday, August 22. Cake and coffee were served by his wife during the day.
Present were Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Olson, and Mrs. Fred Taylor of Ludington, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Verner of Comstock Park, Chester Wanamaker and his friend of Dearborn.
Mr. and Mrs. Wanamaker have been long-time residents of this area and live across the road from the former Ford Lake school. Mr. Wanamaker still is active in the fields of his farm with his team of horses.
