Came to the US from Greece with his brother Louis in approx. 1920. He married Margaret Thompson in 1925 and had 3 sons, Peter, John and George. He died when I was 16 and the last 6 years of his life I live in a different state so I didn't spend much time with him. Before that my grandmother and he babysat with me and I went to school from their house for a couple of years. They didn't have a car so he would walk to the grocery store and I would go along. On the way back I, of course, grew tired and he would have to carry me and his bag of groceries home. They had an old car that did not run that sat in the back yard. He would sit in the car with me and I would "drive". He would put his hat on and sit in that car as long as I thought necessary. It's funny though I never remember him saying a word.
