61, of Melbourne, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North. She was a retired day-care employee for Basic Trust Day Care, Alexandria, and was a member of Bethesda General Baptist Church, Alexandria, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was a volunteer at several local nursing homes.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Johnson; a daughter, Linda Estes of Irvine; her mother, Stella Boyd of Park Hills; sisters, Irene Penrod of Park Hills, Imogene Whaley of Ft. Wright and Ina Mae Miller of Florence; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 this afternoon at Dobbling Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to the Kidney Foundation.
