Irene B. Penrod, 83, of Erlanger, passed away on December 16, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY.
Irene was a Retired Tailor with the Palm Beach Co. in Newport, KY. She was a member of the Erlanger VFW Post 6423 Ladies Auxiliary.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Burns Penrod, her sisters Pauline Johnson, Ina Mae Miller, and Donna Sue Boyd.
Irene is survived by her daughter, Sherri (Don) Spaulding, her sister, Imogene Whaley, her grandchildren, Matthew Spaulding, and Katie (Matt) McDonald, also a great grandson, Liam McDonald.
Visitation 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Friday, December 18, 2015 at Christ Church United Church of Christ, Fort Thomas.
Funeral Ceremony will be held 11:00 am Friday, December 18, 2015, at the Christ Church United Church of Christ, Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
Burial will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery Southgate, Kentucky.
