Catherine was born March 19, 1946 in Augusta, Georgia, daughter of James Newton Chambers and Eunice Moorefield Chambers.
She was a graduate of Augusta College and was a retired Property Manager. She is survived by her son, Erik C. Braun (Britt Wahlin) of Charlottesville, VA, daughter, Katherine B. Hunter (Stuart) of Mt. Pleasant, grandchildren Zach, Taylor, Carolina, Annika and Freya, and a sister, Marilyn Bell of Jacksonville, FL.
