Rosa Lee "Rose" Edenfield, 88, resident of Swainsboro, died Tuesday at her residence.

Rose was born in Brunswick, daughter of the late Houston Hall and Bernice Page Hall. She graduated from ECI in 1949 and Augusta Technical College in 1960. She worked as a legal secretary for Judge L.W. Cooper in Augusta. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Edenfield, in 2016.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00 from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Allen and Reverend Earl Warnock officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joshua Beasley, Brandon Gregoire, Cody Gregoire, Jack Curl, Mike Canady, and Wayne Canady. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel R. Beasley Jr.(Mary) and Richard A. Beasley; five grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
