Florence was the young daughter of Otto Alfred Anderson and Eleanor Hacking Anderson, early pioneers in the Rexburg, Idaho and the Ashley Valley areas. Florence died a few days after the birth of her younger sister, Phebe Ann (born in Ashley-later Vernal, 1891). After the death of their two daughters, the young family returned to Cedar Fort where their oldest daughter, Jane Ambrosine had been born and died the same day in 1886. The couple had 2 sons and 3 more daughters after they returned to Cedar Fort, Utah, Utah, USA.
