Funeral services for Mr. Paul Glosson, Sr. will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.
Mr. Paul Glosson, Sr., 82, of Meridian, went to his heavenly home on September 25, 2019.
Mr. Glosson was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Korea. He retired from Georgia Pacific after 40 years working as a millwright. Paul loved fishing and working in the yard.
Paul is survived by his wife, Frances W. Glosson; his children, Paul Glosson, Jr. (Stefanie), Jody Glosson (Jenifer), Debbie H. Gretka (Rod), and Tammy Herrington (Hal); grandchildren, Kim Vick (Kyle), Bobby Wayne Hall, J.D. Pody, Rhett Glosson, Aaron Glosson, Daniel Glosson (Courtney), “Lil” Paul Glosson III (Tiffany), Abbe Sims, Skyler Covington, and Mckenzie Covington; and great-grandchildren, Mary Margaret Hall, Olivia Kate Hall, Dani Glosson, Demi Glosson, Hunter Lane Glosson, Josh Randall, and Deakon Vick. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Cleveland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emerald and Minnie Glosson; his daughter, Laura Glosson Pody; and his siblings, E.S. Glosson, Jr., Christine Bailey, Lois Lewis, Eloise Guinn, and Ruby Dennis.
Pall bearers will be his grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be shared with Cotton Heights Freewill Baptist Church, 1377 Cotton Gin Road, Meridian, Mississippi 39305.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
