PAUL F. BRAY, 92, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2006, after a long, courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Paul was born Sept. 7, 1913, in Brady. He was a former volunteer firefighter and fire marshal in River Oaks. Paul was a member of Castleberry Church of Christ and retired from Lockheed. Paul selflessly devoted his time to caring for others, whether it was mowing widows' lawns, feeding stray animals, delivering Meals on Wheels, changing the oil in family members' cars or quietly seeing to the needs of others. He was loved and admired by many people. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lem Bray and John Bray; and sister, Doris Bray.

Survivors: Loving wife of 69 years, Rena Mason Bray of Fort Worth; beloved daughters, Paula Bray Link and husband, Jon, of Sayville, N.Y., and Pamala Bray Terrell of Fort Worth; son, Byron M. Bray of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Mason Odom and wife, Laurie, Suzanne Birchmier, Jennifer Hance Leon and husband, Dave, Joshua Paul Hance, Brent Bray, Belen Bray and Redmon Bray; and seven great-grandchildren.
