George Winston Ables, 74 year old retired farmer died in the Baptist Hospital in Jackson Saturday, March 28. He was a resident of Holmes County but had been living at the Willard F. Bond Home in Madison, Miss.

Services for Mr. Ables were held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Harlands Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Willoughby officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Survivors include one brother, A.J. Ables of Tchula and his nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were: Shelton Rogers, Melvin Wigley, Roy Able, Tommy Burrell, Jack Spencer and Wayne Benson.

Southern Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
