Annabelle Isom Bunn, 97, of Galax, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Waddell Nursing and Rehab. She was born Sept. 7, 1920, to the late Lonnie & Mae Isom, in McDowell County in Eckman, WV. A funeral will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018, at The Galax First Assembly of God at 1 p.m. Angie Lineberry will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pope Knob Cemetery, Galax. Family will receive friends Friday, June 15, 2018, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at High Country Services. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, John Clayton Bunn. Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Mae Murray & husband, Brian of Fullerton, CA; nine sons, Roger Clayton Bunn (Rita), Johnnie Dale Bunn (Mija), Bobby Gray Bunn (Ann), all of Woodlawn and Larry Wayne Bunn (Sandra), Dennis Ray Bunn (Lois) and Randy Mitchell Bunn, all of Galax, David Lee Bunn (Kathy) of Richmond, Dean Leroy Bunn (Christine) of Glen Allen and Gary Allen Bunn (Kathy) of Iron Station, NC; one sister, Edith Pauline Gravley of Galax; three brothers, Albert Garfield Isom of Fieldale, Stewart Lee Isom of Kernersville, NC, and Raymond Rudolph Isom of High Point, NC; 39 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
