PORTSMOUTH- Dalton Gray, 80, passed away on Sept. 17, 2019. A native of North Carolina, he was a retired Auto Mechanic, having worked for National Linen Service, Doughtie’s BBQ, and Gray’s Wrecker Service. Dalton was a Marine Corps veteran.
Dalton is survived by his loving wife, Edna Gray of 61 years; two daughters, Melanie Bronson and Mandy Bergen and husband Steve; two sisters, Becky Sample and Della Carrie Gibson; two brothers, Layne Gray and Tommy Gibson; five grandchildren, Jenny Bunting, Stephen Bergen, Jr., Amy Bergen, Noah Spiroff and Cam Bergen; two great-grandchildren, Aidan Bunting and Ava Bunting; and four cousins, Gilbert Gray, Jimmy Gray, Kathryn Gray Flowers and Martha Tillett. Dalton was a devoted husband, loving father and a friend to everyone.
