He died at his home Manor St., Bakersfield, Kern County, California. He is buried _________2019 in Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, Kern County, California. He will be buried with his beloved wife Betty June Ramay. J. C.'s paternal grandparents are Andrew Jackson Ramay and Laura Bell (Bobo) Ramay. His Maternal grandparents are Crockett C. Davis and Lille Pearl (Cantrell) Davis.
On 7 November 1945 J. C. Married Gladys Wright. They had a son, John Michael Ramay Schell.
J. C. second married Margaret Clair Trainer. (Marriage date). They had 2 sons, Bobby Jay Ramay Stephens and Tommy Lee Ramay Stephens and 3 daughters, Donna Sue Ramay Stephens, Patty Lou Ramay Stephens and Lorre Kim Ramay Stephens.
J. C. third married Betty Ruth McCllenan on 27 February 1970 in __________ Nevada. She brought in to our Ramay family 2 daughters, Jackie (_________) and DeLona (__________) Little. Aunt Betty passed away 21 October 2004.
J. C. was the oldest of ten children born to Finous Ramay and Goldia May (Davis) Ramay. He was preceded in death by his brother Bill Junior Ramay. Three sisters, Willie Bernadean "Dean" Ramay Burlando., Billie Ruth "Poochie" (Ramay) Preston, and Lillie Bell (Ramay) Rector.
J. C. is survived by two brothers, James Louis Ramay and Kenneth Frank "Buster" Ramay. Three sisters, Verla May "Birdie" Ramay Stidman. Shirley Ann (Ramay) Wyer and Mary Darlene (Ramay) Buehring.
J. C. is survived by a whole host of nieces and nephews.
