From The Salt Lake Tribune (Salt Lake City, UT) - 18 October 2003:
Gladys Orme Williams, devoted earthly servant to our Heavenly Father, returned to His home October 15, 2003. Waiting for her there are her eternal companion and husband, Lyle L. Williams, her earthly parents, Joseph Cross and Gertrude Eyre Orme, her 12 brothers and sisters, and a great-granddaughter.
Left to carry on her legacy on earth are her five children: Diane (John) Rossi, Bountiful; Marilyn Carr, West Bountiful; Richard (Susan) Williams, Heber City; Stephanie (Jack) Green, Greenbrae, CA; Jane (Steve) Samuel, Bend, OR; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Gladys was born September 30, 1918 in Squirrel, Idaho. She spent her 85 years serving her Heavenly Father, her family and her co-workers and friends at ZCMI.
In memory of Gladys, read a child a story, listen to your favorite piano and organ music, read a good book, learn to knit and crochet, count your blessings, say your prayers, buy yourself something nice and drive carefully.
