Lawton O. Adcock, 70, of Sand Road, Morrisonville, died Thursday at CVPH Medical Center.

He was born the son of Owen and Lillian (Patterson) Adcock.

He worked at Western Electric in Detroit for 5 years until he entered the Army in WWII and served in the Pacific.

He is survived by his wife, the former Beulah Summer; one step-son, Robert Bates of Morrisonville; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Gerald (Nancy) Trombly and Mrs. Peter (Donna) Corodimas, both of Morrisonville; two sisters, Mrs. Ross (Vida) Pardy of Saranac Lake and Mrs. Gofdon (Charity) Johnson of TX; nine grandchildren.
