WILLIE RAY "JERRY" JOHNSON, 79, of Purvis, MS. He died Tuesday, September 3, 2019. Interment will be in Pleasant Home Cemetery. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 6, 2019 at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home Purvis Chapel.
Mr. Johnson was born January 17, 1940 to Willie & Minnie Johnson of Purvis. He lived all his life in Purvis. He drove a truck OTR for 42 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Howard Johnson and Jimmy Johnson both of Purvis; two sisters, Norma Rae McCardle of the Carnes Comm. and Emmer Lee Saucier of Purvis.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Glenda Johnson of Purvis; one daughter, Rhonda Johnson of Purvis; one grandson, Jayson Holder (Kindel) of Mittie, LA and two great-grandson, Levi and Gentry.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Friday at Hulett-Winstead Purvis Chapel.
