TANNER, Alfred Mack , (Stuff Buddy), 76, of Hollins, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2002. He was a retired painter and a longtime employee of Singer Furniture. Surviving are his sons, Danny Tanner of Roanoke, Bobby Tanner of Redding, Calif.; daughters, Margie Ann Barnett of Henrietta, Texas, Bonnie Faye Schneider of Greenville, Tenn.; brothers, Wallace Tanner of Roanoke, Walter Tanner of Dublin, Ga., Robbie Joe Tanner of Augusta, Ga.; sister, Quienell Duckett of Yorktown, Va.; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday, December 5 at Simpson-Tharp Chapel, 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Simpson-Tharp Funeral Home (366-0707).
