Mr. Conn, 93, of Dry Prong, entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 1, 2019, at Colfax Reunion Rehabation Center, in Colfax, LA.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in WWII. He owned and operated Conn's Texaco Service Station of Ball, up until ninety years of age, and was a member of the Pentecostals of Alexandria Church. He will be deeply missed by the community and all who knew and loved him.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include one son, Greg Woodruff and his children, of Dallas, TX.; one daughter, Teresa Jones and her children, of Shreveport; three grandsons, Shannon Conn, of Ball, Michael Bruce, of Tioga and Shad Bruce, of Marksville; one great grandson, Liam Conn, of Natchitoches; two great granddaughters, Alasyn Conn, of Ball and Carmyn Conn, of Ball; one great-great grandson, Baylor Desoto, of Deville; and one grand daughter-in-law, Amy Conn, of Ball.
Friends may call at the Pentecostals of Alexandria Church, on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
