Suvivors include a son, Tommy Chapman; five daughters, Dorothy Chapman Jessup, Louise Chapman Childers, Mildred Chapman Elliott, Jo Ann Chapman Dowling, and Katherine Chapman Gaines; fourteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
