Mrs. Mary Standerfer, 90 years old, passed away Saturday, January 5, 1985, at Research Medical Center. She was born in Croatia and had lived in the Kansas City area for 70 years, making her home at a nursing home in Raytown. Mrs. Standerfer had worked for the Federal Reserve Bank for eight years before retiring in 1959. Earlier, she had been a trimmer in the pork department for the former Cudahy Packing Company. She was a Catholic.
Mrs. Standerfer left a son, Richard L. Standerfer, of Ketchikan, Alaska; two daughters, Mrs. Eulalia Dolson of Raytown and Mrs. Thelma Trent of Kansas City; a sister, Mrs. Frances Cop, of Prémontré, France; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Friends called at the Hinton Funeral Home, where services were held. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas.
