YORK - Mrs. Alice Allen Brakefield, 78, of 14 Willoglow St., died Thursday, Nov. 28, 1996, at White Oak Manor in Rock Hill. The funeral will be 2pm Sunday at York Church of God with the Rev. James Gamer officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
A native of Buckhead, Ga., Mrs. Brakefield was a retired weaver from Cannon Mills. She was a member of York Church of God.
Surviving are her husband, Luther A. Brakefield of York; two daughters, Geraldine B. Wray and Brenda B. Gibby, both of York; her brother, Ralph Allen of Columbia; her sister, Thelma A. Burris of Rock Hill, and three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
