She loved to go shopping at the South Mall and visiting her nephew Terry and his wife Sandy at their store. At their store, she gave a helping hand and loved to talk to their customers. She enjoyed meeting her stepgranddaughter Krystal on her lunch break. She used to walk five miles a day and loved working in her flower beds. Her great-niece, Tina, helped her with her daily needs when she moved to Florida, and she could always make her laugh. She loved her dog, Chin-Chin.
Survivors: Nephew, Terry and his wife Sandra Brandle of Deltona; step-granddaughter, Krystal Kosci of Allentown; brother, Harold Christ of Maxatawny and George Christ of Hamburg; longtime companion, Gerald W. Cole of Macungie; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Esther Johnson, Arlene Schoenly and Ruth Brandle and a brother, Edgar Christ.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, Allentown. Calling hour will be held 9:30-10:30 Monday in the funeral home.
