THE HENRY BULLETIN, Friday, April 21, 1916, p. 7 (?), col. 4 [edited].
On Wednesday, March 22nd, 1916, loving hands laid to rest in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Mrs. Mary Wyatt Self, her spirit having gone home to rest with God.
In 18 years of happy married life to Mr. John M. Self, she was forgetful of her own pleasure, and looked diligently to the temporal and spiritual welfare of her husband and eight little jewels. She now sleeps with an infant upon her breast.
