Diane Faye Goertzen, 74, of Hutchinson, died August 14, 2019, at her home. She was born August 28, 1944, in Hutchinson, to Ewell W. ‘Wimpy’ and Florence F. (Perkins) Lintecum.
Diane graduated from Buhler High School in 1962. She worked as a bank teller for Central Bank & Trust and a bookkeeper for First National Bank and Bank of Kansas. Diane enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was her five grandsons: Cody, Kaleb, Tanner, Chase, and Cole.
On November 24, 1962, she married Norman ‘Wayne’ Goertzen in Hutchinson.
Diane is survived by: her husband of almost 57 years, Wayne of Hutchinson; sons, Kevin and wife Vicki of Andover, Kurtis and wife Sally of Hutchinson, Kreg and wife Brenda of Andover; grandsons, Cody, Kaleb, Tanner, Chase, and Cole Goertzen; and brother, Robert Lintecum of Junction City.
She was preceded in death by: her parents and brothers, Billy Guy and Neil Winston Lintecum.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2019, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Montie McFerrin officiating. Burial will follow in Partridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
