Inscription

Rev. War, 1st class, 5th Co. 4th battalion, Phila. County militia from Marlboro township. Baltzer was a farmer, oil miller, etc., he was assessed in 1787 for 105 acres of land and dwelling, three horses and three cows. e was an active and prosperous business man and a much respected citizen.
