Ernest is preceded in death by his parents, Enos and Della Clark Seay; his wife, Annie R. Seay; three daughters, Jerry Haney, Francis and Shirley Seay; and two sons, Monroe and Ernest Junior Seay.
He is survived by his children, Joe David and wife, Shirley Seay, and Marvin and wife, Becky Seay, both of Del Rio; sisters, Mary Ester Woody, of Del Rio, and Dovie Willis, of White Pine; three brothers, Ozias Seay, of Newport; Ralph and wife, Glennie Seay, of Bybee, and Jonah Seay, of Rocksville, Ga. Mr. Seay will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Tim, Tabitha, Jim, Abury, Mike, Angie Seay, and Amy Jo and Brad White, and his great-grandchildren, Danielle, Brittany, Sarah, Taylor, Amber, and Madison, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 29, 2006, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service following at 8:00 p.m. Tois Seay officiating. A graveside service will be Saturday, September 30, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Clark Cemetery (Deep Gap).
