Linda Jo Alley Erwin, 74, of Mooresville, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at her residence.
She was born on May 10, 1944 in Charlotte, NC, to the late Harley and Ollie Mae Riley Alley. Mrs. Erwin was a graduate of North Meck High School and was retired from Charlotte Cold Storage after over 20 years of service. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Davidson.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Fred Robert Erwin; daughter, Angela Yates (Thomas Henry) of Danville, VA; sister, Sherry Riley of Concord; and brother, Ted Alley (Carol) of Cleveland.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 12 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 13 at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sammy Pierce and Rev. Stacy Howe officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park in Mooresville.
