Funeral services were held for Lawrence Briley, 61, who died in his home in Valliant, Oklahoma on July 24, 2019. Lawrence was born to Hosie Briley, Sr. and Earnestine (Hankins) Briley on August 21, 1957 in Valliant, OK.
Lawrence attended Valliant Public Schools and graduated from Valliant High School, Valliant, Oklahoma in 1976.
He worked at the County Barn as a good Heavy Equipment Operator. Also, he and his brother, Robert worked for Bob Stuart with painting Walmart Stores.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Raymond "Bugs" Briley.
Survivors include four (4) brothers, Hosie Briley, Jr., Johnny Vester Briley, Robert Briley and Travis Briley; three (3) sisters, Augustine Neal, Robin Miller and Carolyn Walls; host of nieces and nephews.
Services were held on July 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Clear Creek Baptist Church, near Valliant, OK, with Rev. Lee Pickings officiating.
Burial followed at the Clear Creek Cemetery under the direction of Rogan Funeral Home in Hugo, Oklahoma.
