Funeral services for Billie Arrington, 83, were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Highway Church of Christ with Doug Williams, Minister officiating.
Mrs. Arrington died March 10 in the Golden Plains Nursing Home, Post, following a lengthy illness. Born Billie Shugart in Chillicothe on March 28, 1900, she had lived most of her life in Dickens County. She married Roy Arrington in Dickens County on August 31, 1918. A housewife, she was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Victor and Charlie both of Spur; two daughters, Ida Lee McInroe, Roaring Springs and Pat Suddeth, Arlington; one sister, Monte DeRance, Lubbock; six grandchildren and 7 greats.

Pallbearers included Philip Davis, Jim McInroe, J.L. Sawyers, Gerald Horton, Dutch Hines and Austin Watson.

Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge.
