Sylvia Eliza (Hatcher) Harrell, age 95, of Mooresville, Indiana passed away on Saturday July 20, 2019. Sylvia was born October 11, 1923 in Jamestown, Indiana to the late Angie (Chestnut) Hatcher and John Hatcher.
She is also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William Harrell and siblings, Fred Hatcher, James Hatcher, Herman Hatcher, and Evodie Cotton.
Sylvia was a member of Hope Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Her greatest joy was her family and when they all came home and gathered.
Sylvia is survived by her daughter, Janice "Jan" Owens (Bob); son, Kenneth "Kenny" Harrell (Mary); grandchildren, Kari Weddle (Kimuel), Kimberly "Kim" Barrett (Tim), and Kenneth "Kenny" Owens (Oksana); great grandchildren, Kaleb Weddle (Rachel), Karina Weddle, Kolton Weddle, Khloe Weddle, Kye Barrett, Maely Barrett, Tait Owens, Kira Owens, and Nikolai Owens.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 24 from 4-8pm and Thursday, July 25 from 10-11am at Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Rd. Indianapolis, Indiana 46224. Her Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 25 at 11am at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana
