Angie Chesnut Hatcher, 98, died September 26, 1986, at a nursing home in Indianapolis, Indiana. Born Sept 30, 1887 in Laurel County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Eliza Jane Lloyd Chesnut. Mrs. Hatcher was the last surviving child of Stephen Chesnut's 20 children, which ended the generation of 129 years, said her son, James H. Hatcher.

Her husband, John T. Hatcher, preceded her in death. She is survived by children, Fred of London, Kentucky, Evodie Cotton, Sylvia Harrell, Herman J., all of Indianapolis and James H. of Coatesville, Indiana; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren also survive.

Officiating at the services was Robert Earl Johnson, pastor of Old Salem Church, London, a nephew of Mrs. Hatcher. Pallbearers were her six grandsons, James Jr., Dennis and Richard Hatcher, Wayne and Ronald Melton and Kenneth Harrell. Interment was at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Lizton, Indiana.
