Mrs. Lavoie was born in Canada, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Doucette. The family came to Morrison
county in December 1880, locating in Belle Prairie.
She was married to Mr. Lavoie at the Belle Prairie church twenty-five years ago.
Surviving is her husband and a daughter, Alice, 6 years old. She also leaves seven brothers, Peter, Arthur, Albert, and Barome Doucette of Belle Prairie; Sam Doucette of Cloquet, Arnesse Doucette of the state of Washington, and Napoleon Doucette of Ripley; and
two sisters, Mrs. Albert Germaine and Mrs. Oliver Bastien of this city.
The funeral was held from St. Francis Xavier church yesterday morning at 9 o'clock, Fr. A. Lamothe
officiating. Interment was in Calvary cemetery.
