The Brown County World, Friday, 9 November 1906 NEWTON--Mrs. J. L. Newton, aged 48 years died at her home last Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock after an illness of only four days. She leaves a husband, three daughters and one son to mourn her loss. The funeral services were held at the M. E. church Tuesday at 10 o'clock. The remains were taken to Severance for burial--Everest Enterprise.
