G. R. Allison of Carolina avenue and his brother, Lester of Virginia avenue have returned from a vacation trip in
Canada. They were accompanied by R. E. Allison of Locust Hill and Lon Allison of Weirton.

Heart Attack Takes Ex - Chester Butcher

Allison Dies At 55 While Visiting In Maryland

Lon Allison, 55, former Chester butcher, died suddenly of a heart attack Tuesday morning while spending the Christmas holidays with his daughter, Mrs. Henry Mueller at Sparrows Point, Md. Mr. Allison, resided in Holidays Cove for the last 10 years, went to Maryland Sunday to visit over Christmas. He conducted a butcher shop in Carolina ave., Chester, for many years and engaged in the meat business in Holidays Cove until about five years ago. For the last year he was employed in the store room of the Weirton Steel Co. at Weirton. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Orpha Allison; another daughter, Mrs. Robert Hartley of Marland Heights, Weirton; his mother, Mrs. R. E. Allison of Chester; four brothers, Lester Allison and Floyd Allison of Chester, John Allison of Beaver Falls and C. H. Allison of Antioch, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. John Cunningham, Mrs. William Oyster, Mrs. Paul Johnston and Olive Allison of Chester, and Mrs. Paul Hune of East Liverpool, and five grandchildren. The body arrived in Holidays Cove today. Funeral services will be held in the home Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Locust Hill cemetery, Chester. Friends may call at the home in Holidays Cove.
