Mrs. T. A. Drake Is Dead Here
Mrs. Amanda Drake, 36, wife of Thomas A. Drake, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Allison of near Locust Hill at 7:30 o'clock last evening following a long illness of a complication of diseases. She has been bedfast for several months. Mrs. Drake was born in this county. She leaves her parents, her husband and three children by a former marriage, as follows; Miss Thelma Hunter, Youngstown; Miss Sarah Hunter, of Beaver Falls and Voyle Hunter of Darlington. The following brothers and sisters are also living: Lon, Hal, Floyd, Lester, and John Allison, all of Chester; Mrs. Earl Gordon of New Castle; Mrs. William Oyster, Chester, and Olive, Viva and Eva Allison, all at home. She was a member of the First Christian church. Funeral services will be conducted at the R.E. Allison home Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock, in charge of Rev. Grant Ward, pastor of the First Christian church, and Rev. John F. Dimitt, pastor of the First Methodist Protestant church of East Liverpool. Burial will be made in Locust Hill Cemetery.
