Elizabeth Eicher, 87, of rural Berne, a homemaker, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2000, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. The Adams County native was a member of Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving are sons Ben A. and Harvey A., both of Berne, Amos A. of Bluffton and Leroy A. of Quincy, Mich.; daughters Salome Wengerd and Mary Christner, both of Berne, Delila Wickey of Phoenix and Rosie Wickey of Milroy; a brother, Jacob E. Schwartz of Berne; a sister, Rose Yoder of Geneva; 49 grandchildren; 195 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos, a son, Jacob A., and 10 brothers and sisters.

Services are 9 a.m. Thursday at the family residence, 7267 S. - 150 E., Berne, with calling from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 4 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in Schwartz Cemetery, Monroe. Information provided by Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne, 1-219-589-3101.
