Kathleen M. Neuenkirchen, 64, of North Aurora, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2007 at her home. She was born February 23, 1943 in Aurora, IL.
Kathleen was a longtime resident of North Aurora. She was united in marriage to Dean Neuenkirchen on September 7, 1968 in Aurora at St. Joseph Church. For ten years she was employed by The Sears Outlet Center and later as a bookkeeper for Ace Hardware.
Survivors include her loving husband, Dean; two sons, Eric (Bonnie) Neuenkirchen of Sheridan, IL and Craig (Basha) Neuenkirchen of North Carolina; twelve grandchildren, Eric, Ashley, Ramaeo, Kalai, Talon, Jenny, Kimberley, Dawn, Amber, Christian, Javanni and Breanna; two great grandchildren, Dakota and Shyann; one sister, Ruth Assell of KY; and two brothers, Jerry Assell of OH and Larry (Kathy) Assell of VT; several nieces and nephews and one sister-in-law, Carla Assell of IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Catherine (Marx) Assell; two infant daughters, Mary and Cari Neuenkirchen and by two brothers, Tommy and Bill Assell.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 9:30 am at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to Annunciation Church at 10:00 am. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 27, 2007 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Liturgical Wake Service at 3:30 pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora, IL. 60506. (630) 631-5500.
