Dean was a lifelong resident of the Aurora Area. He was employed by All Steel for thirty two years until his retirement. Dean was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1963 – 1965. In 1968 he married Kathleen (Assell) at St. Joseph Church in Aurora. For many years he enjoyed bowling in the area leagues.
Survivors include his two sons Eric (Bonnie) Neuenkirchen of Sheridan, IL and Craig Neuenkirchen of Aurora; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; and his brother Dale (Marilyn Bishop) Neuenkirchen of Aurora, IL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen; his parents, Arthur and Florence (Nestor) Neuenkirchen and by two daughters in infancy, Mary and Cari Neuenkirchen.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 12:30PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY. Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
