Clifford Ward passed away on July 9th, 2019 at Baptist Health Lexington following a brief illness. Clifford was born on August 11th, 1935 in Grapevine, Kentucky and graduated from Feds Creek High School. He was a Veteran of the Korean War era serving in the United States Army. He retired from Rockwell International after many years of employment. Clifford was also a Founding Member of Heritage Assemblies of God Church of Lexington, Ky. He married his sweetheart, Florence Justice, who preceded him in death, in Clintwood, Virginia on July 9th, 1955. He and Flo had two children; their daughter, Martha Ann (Ward) Blair, who precedes her father in passing, and is survived by their Son, Clifford Michael (Lisa Beckett) Ward, and two grandchildren, Andrew Michael, and Allison Elizabeth Ward. Also preceding Clifford in passing are his parents, Troy and Lucy Ann (Abshire) Ward, his brothers, John Ward, Jr., and Troy Zeldon Ward; sisters, Opal Ward Good, Orphanages Ward Taylor, Goma Ward Webb, and Roma Ward Scott. Clifford was part of a large and loving family and is also survived by two sisters, Imal Ward Ramey and Vivian Ward Johnson in addition to a multitude of nieces, nephews, and their many children. Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Kentucky.
