M.“Feona” Bolinger, 75, of McLouth, KS, died at her home July 3, 2019. She was born November 16, 1943, the daughter of Arthur LeRoy and Mary Elizabeth Smith LaMar. Feona was a 1961 graduate of McLouth High School. She worked as a deli clerk at the Dillions grocery store on 23rd St. in Lawrence for 18 years, retiring in July 2011. She was a member of the Countryside Baptist Church. Her children describe her as “A Good Mother”. She married Charles Bolinger in Oskaloosa, KS., on January 15, 1962. He preceded her in death on February 19, 2019.
Survivors include one son, Charles R. (Miriam), two daughters, Tammi (Warren) and Kristie, two granddaughters, Samantha and Valery, and numerous step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Connie Hedgepath.
Cremation is planned. There will be a memorial service and gathering 3:00PM Sunday, July 14, 2019 at the McLouth Baptist Church. Memorials to the Jefferson County Friends of Hospice or to the F.W. Huston Medical Center c/o the Barnett Family Funeral Home, Oskaloosa.
