Port Monmouth Woman Dead at Age 83 years.
Mrs Deborah Carman of Port Monmouth, widow of David Carman, died Saturday morning at the age of 83 years after having been sick since early last winter. She had lived sixty years in the house in which she died, She was twice married, her first husband having been William Bennett. By him she leaves two sons, John Bennett of Port Monmouth and Thomas Bennett of Red Bank By her second husband she leaves three sons, Joseph Carman of Keyport and Augustus and William Carman of Port Monmouth. Mrs Carman's maiden name was Bennett, the same as her first husband's. She leaves a brother Benjamin Bennett of Red Bank. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was a member of the New Monmouth Baptish Church. The funeral was held at that church yesterday morning and burial was at Green Grove cemetery at Keport.
